# Arya — Mobile AI Assistant for Tally: Ask Anything

## What Arya does

- **Ask Anything (Ask Arya) — the headline feature:** ask any question about your Tally books in plain words — "Which customers are overdue past 60 days?", "Who are my top 10 customers this year?" — or pick from 300+ premade questions across 22 topics. Every answer is backed by a report, shows the table behind it, and can be saved and found again in history.

- **Why sales changed:** quantity, selling rate and items sold, and who bought the most.
- **Compare anything:** this month vs last month, this year vs last year, or two to six customers, suppliers or items side by side.
- **Every figure explains itself:** tap the info mark to see what a figure counts, what it leaves out and whether GST is included.
- **Export:** any screen as a PDF or an Excel file. Numbers in lakh and crore.
- **Companies and users:** a workspace holds 2 Tally companies and 1 owner + 2 members (for example the owner and their accountant or CA), each with a role — owner, admin or member.
- **Works with the Tally PC switched off:** the synced books are held securely in the cloud, so Arya answers from anywhere. The PC only needs to be on, with Tally running, to sync. Auto Sync runs on an interval you choose, or sync by hand. Tally stays the source of truth.

## Security and data

- Each company has its own isolated database; one customer's books are never in another's tables.
- Everything leaving the Tally PC travels encrypted; data is held on AWS in Mumbai and does not leave India. Arya never sells data.
- The AI never sees the figures: it gets the question and a list of reports, and Arya's server computes the answer from the books.
- Only people invited to the workspace see the figures, each with their own verified email and a role.
- Syncing only reads Tally. The one exception: a voucher the user fills in on the phone and chooses to post is sent to Tally.
- Uninstall the Connector or turn Auto Sync off, and nothing more leaves the PC.

## For CAs — Arya CA Partner Program

CAs and accounting professionals can refer their Tally-using clients to Arya and earn 25% recurring revenue on every client who subscribes with their CA partner code, for as long as the client stays.
